She woke up with a headache. Why was she on the floor? Images flashed in her memory. How did I get here? She had a heightened sense of emotion. Historical events and strange symbols ran through her consciousness like an old reel to reel, clickity-clack. No connection appeared evident. Was this a result of some alternate reality? Could some temporal being have planted the notions in her consciousness, hoping she would act on them? There must be some similarity, some explanation.
