Geocache Description:

This cache takes you to the Christ statue located on a hill just a short walk from the village of La Cumbre.

One of the main tourist attractions of La Cumbre is the statue of "Cristo Redentor" ("Christ the Redeemer"). It only takes about half an hour to walk up the hill and it's definitely worth it. From the top you have a fantastic view over the village and the mountain ranges of the Sierras.

The cache container is a small plastic box inside a plastic bag. It contains a log book and a cache note in Spanish, but no pen (so be sure to bring your own). It's big enough to hold small items and trackables too.
