Geocache Description:

A Dam, A Clock And What A View!

After finding this simple cache, open the lid and take out a sheet. You'll need a pen or pencil to answer the questions. Some of the answers can be found at this site, figured in your head or via use of the decryption key below. Take all three completed cache game-forms down the hill to the Visitor Center to claim your prize. Have fun!

Three Dams on the Columbia River: Grand Coulee (Bureau of Reclamation), Chief Joseph (Army Corps of Engineers), and Rocky Reach (Chelan County PUD), are partnering to bring geocaching to those facilities.

You can start and finish the 3-Dam Geocaching Challenge at any one of the three dams.

At each cache, participants will read something interesting and educational about the dams (history, irrigation, turbines, generators, etc). Write down your answers on the sheet provided. After finding the specific caches related to the challenge, return to the visitor center, and show your answers. If correct, you will receive a stamp on your Passport and a prize.

There will be a unique stamp for each dam. Proceed on to the other two dams, to do the same, and when your Passport has all three stamps, you will receive a Three Dam Patch for completing the challenge.
