Posanges n'est qu'à quelques encablures de Vitteaux, sur la route qui conduit à Alésia, Flavigny et Montbard, le village peut s'enorgueillir d'avoir comme écrin, un magnifique château construit au XVème siècle (entre 1440 et 1445) pour Guillaume du Bois, premier maître d'hôtel et conseiller du duc de Bourgogne Philippe Le Bon.
Ce château d'architecture défensive aux quatre tours rondes, possède encore son pont-levis, car il est entouré de douves.

Posanges is only a short distance from Vitteaux on the road to Alesia, Flavigny and Montbard, the village can boast of having as setting, a magnificent castle built in the fifteenth century (between 1440 and 1445) for William Wood, the first butler and advisor to the Duke of Burgundy Philip the Good.
This castle of defensive architecture with four round towers, still has its drawbridge, as it is surrounded by a moat.
