Well, it has been a while.
There is a brand new walking trail in Tidbinbilla. It's a whole new way of going up to Gibraltar Peak, a purpose built walking trail that is so much nicer than the old fire trail! It may add a bit of distance as it traverses the climb but it is shaded and has a few strategically placed benches and viewing spots. And yep, there is a Traditional cache at the top as well as the Earth Cache. The return walk is just over 7km with a bit of altitude along the way. The path is brilliant but not suitable for strollers. And don't be surprised if a Bridge Banter appears in the not too distant future, there are a few bridges that should be safer than the other Tidbinbilla BB's..........but is my GZ going to block one ??????
GZ is about 30m off the main trail. Please keep well covered.
