Geocache Description:

bunster316 finds 1000 caches in 5 months!

Back in October of 2011, I convinced my buddy Lorne, who was also my sons cub scout leader, to stop using his wife's GC account and start logging his own finds. He was a little unsure at first, but soon, a new cacher appeared - bunster316.

In a relatively short amount of time, he started really getting into this crazy caching thing we all do. He quickly surpassed his wife's finds within a few weeks. He's become one of my go-to caching adventure people, and we often go on adventures with his son, joshboy102 and my son, geofett.

Suddenly, in March 2012 he was rapidly approaching the 1k finds milestone. So we made a special trip on April 1st (after a great flashmob) and went to retrieve his first 5/5 cache, Tonsil of the Beast, a cache he had specifically picked for this milestone.

So, I am placing this specialized cache in honor of bunster316 reaching this significant milestone in geocaching.

The cache is placed on State Gamelands, so be sure to wear BLAZING BRIGHT DAYGLO ORANGE during hunting season. There are parking coordinates listed, please observe the rules and regs of the gamelands by only parking in designated areas. Follow the gamelands road/trail into the area, and you wont have to cross any railroad track, but you'll be able to walk under the bridges.
You cannot access this cache from Williams Rd to the south, so dont even try.

There is a completely different approach to this cache by water, but that way will only save you the hike.

Enjoy the walk!

PS - IF YOU CANNOT GET PAST THE RR BRIDGE DUE TO HIGH WATER, THE CACHE IS ALSO UNDER HIGH WATER. This is a rare occurrence, but has happened in the past.
