Geocache Description:

It's time to hit the rails....err, trails.

The B&A Railroad operated from 1887 until 1950 carrying passengers and freight between Baltimore and Annapolis.
In 1979 Anne Arundel County began plans for turning the unused line into a rail to trail conversion. The paved trail runs parallel to Route 2 along its 13.3 mile length.
There are plenty of places to stop and rest, short detours can be made for food and water. There are numerous places to park along the trail and jump on if you don't want to do the entire thing.

The trail is part of the East Coast Greenway which runs from Maine to Key West.

Congrats to marylandramblers on FTF!
