Geocache Description:

Darband was formerly a village close to Tajrish, Shemiran, and is now a neighbourhood inside Tehran's city limits. It is the beginning of a very popular hiking trail into the Alborz mountain Tochal, which towers over Tehran. A chair lift is also available for those not interested in hiking.
The Persian word (دربند Darband) means "closed gates".

The cache container is a 35mm film container which was found after a long seek through photo galleries and camera stores, and made me think how digital photography changes minor things!

*NOTE* There are not many geocaches nor geocachers in Iran, so please mention where you come from in your logs. I'm interested in knowing people from which countries have visited this cache. Thanks! (:

The cache contains:
1. Log sheet,
2. guide sheet
3. a paperclip
4. an old 2-Rials Iranian coin
5. a sequin
6. a small GC print
