On Sunday, June 10, why not finish off your caching weekend with a scenic view??
This is the 2nd of 2 local Event caches, with GC3DZHN (Learn How To Geocache) on Saturday the 9th.
Black Bridge is the final link between the North and South sections of the Waterford Heritage Trail, and a gateway to the Trans Canada Trail. Used by teenagers and adventurous souls over the years, it has been completely revamped, with a new, “non-see through” surface and strong railings. It provides a panoramic view of the Waterford Ponds. There are 68 caches hidden within a 5km radius of the centre of the bridge and 278 within 10km!!
Most of us have witnessed the tremendous improvements to the Waterford Heritage Trail over the past few years. Come along and help applaud the efforts of the committee, who have provided cachers, hikers, cyclists and citizens with this wonderful recreational venue.
This event will be slightly longer than a Flash Mob, but much shorter than a meal event. If you have any caching attire (caps, T shirts, etc), please wear it, as as a statement of our appreciation as a group.
