Une petite série de caches sur Elie Cartan, le fameux mathématicien.
Issu d’une famille dolomoise, il devait comme le souhaite la tradition suivre son père dans son métier de maréchal-ferrant. Mais son instituteur à l’école communale (qui d’ailleurs porte aujourd’hui le nom d’Elie) découvre son aptitude à manipuler les chiffres. Sur l’initiative de son instituteur il développe son talent et devient un grandiose mathématicien.
