Over the past two years I have had the opportunity to earn my master's degree in social work--a lifelong dream & goal of mine met on May 4, 2012 when I graduated from USU. I could not have succeeded at this endeavor without the unconditional love & support of my husband, two children, & parents; as well as our great friends who brought us to Torrey for our first time in 2011 and introduced us to geocaching! That trip was the first time in months I took a true break from studying. As we searched for geocache's I found time for quiet reflection & felt overwhelmed by gratitude for my family, friends, the beautiful earth, & the opportunity to be empowered through education. I wanted to place a cache in this location as a tribute to what I am grateful for: the Creator of my life, relationships, & the simple things: being with friends, cooking together (trying black bean burgers), hiking, GEOCACHING, roller-blading, reading out loud in the car, roasting marshmallows, kissing booboo's, watching sunsets, taking tons of pictures, & most of all--living fully present in the moment as we talk, laugh, and discover our way on this journey together. I hope finding this cache will allow for a moment of quiet reflection to "bee" grateful & appreciate the moments that so quickly become memories! Fanny Crosby said it well: "Live in the moment and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering."
