Another Sawmill Road Cache. This one requires a special tool for those that are vertically challenged like me. I picked one up at the dollar store! Cache is slightly bigger than a film container. Room for a log and a really small TB without a hitchhiker. BTOP. There is a toonie for the FTF. Remember you have to sign the log to get a smiley face. Just finding it doesn't count. Please return it as you found it. For a back road, this a well traveled section, so you will have to be stealthy.
When I was a boy, there was an old eccentric gentleman that lived on this corner that was a bit of a hermit. He lived there with no hydro and a wood stove up until he passed away in the late 70's. He told us that in the winter he always slept in the barn with the goats, because it was warmer in the barn than it was in the house. He had a tractor that he drove into Aylmer every once and awhile to pickup groceries.
