Geocache Description:

Small camo covered container, that pulls apart. Log only please bring a pen.

Welcome to the Jarvis to Townsend trail. The terrain will change as you hike, from a old rail line trail used by quads etc...,to a quad trail with a few small hills to climb to a paved walkway. GC3610C marks one end of the trail while the other is marked by GC33NGJ. Most parts of this trail can be muddy at times but the mud can be avoided easily enough if you watch where you walk. There is not a lot of shade along the greater part of this trail so plan to bring some water along for the walk. If you decide to bike this trail it better be a mountain bike and be ready to push it through some spots.
Parking on the east end of the trail is located at the Jarvis Country Market parking lot coords provided. The owner of the market was more then happy to allow this when I asked. The Market is a old feed mill turned flea market some of the old equipment still exists in the place, have a look it is interesting to see. I know of other mills that still use this type of equipment even now a days. West end parking has room for 2 or 3 vehicles. When on the old rail line part please stay between the fences and out of the farm fields there is no need to go there.Once you near the river look for a trail to your right and fallow it along the river. If you miss it about a 100 meters or so up the rail trail you will have to turn back as the rail bridge across the river does not exist anymore.Trail length is roughly 3 km long.
As always please place caches back how you found them and let me know if there are any problems with them so I may tend to them and fix if need be. Thank you and enjoy this series of caches.
