Geocache Description:

a simple micro along a country road.

For years, as i drove by this road, I always wondered where the name of this road came from, considering yucha plants are nowhere near indigenous to the area.

Maybe it was a joke? Maybe it was because of a family that came from Arizona?

Nope, none of that. The Yucha family inhabited a lot of the area around here, and still do to this day. There are several Yuchas buried in the Mitchell Cemetery to the east of here.

I also learned that its pronouinced "YOO HA" not "YOU KA" or "YUCK AH"
