Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are within a few miles of the cache and provide a convenient place to park.

First, a little background on Ned, told in the form of a limerick:

A befuddled programmer named Ned,

Couldn't keep dates right in his head.

He sang 'Silent Night'

While kids dressed for fright:

Pirates and clowns and undead.

Now, on with our story: During one of his bouts of befuddlement, Ned informed his friend Fred of the location of a small cache along the bike path in Akron, NY: N53 01.304, W116 36.601.

Fred, a cartographer with a nearly photographic memory and an interest in out of the way Canadian towns, knew that the coordinates Ned had given him were in the vicinity of Pembina Forks, Alberta, Canada, 3002 kilometers away. Ned, however, remained adamant that they were along the bike path.

Can you help Fred decipher the real coordinates and find the cache?

A Sacagawea dollar awaits the FTF.

The terrain is a solid 1 until about 12' from the cache.

Congrats to KK2005 on the FTF (and Borst on the First to Solve)
