Le chemin qui mène sur le site de la géocache est accessible à partir de la rue Cardin et se trouve aux coordonnées suivantes:
N48° 31.475 W001° 19.251
La rue Cardin conduisait au moulin du Prieur qui était probablement défendu autrefois par une petite tour ronde. Entre la porte d’Avranches et la ruelle Cardin, en contrebas, se trouve le Bas des Tertres, autrefois appelé « la vallée des Tourelles » où se trouvait le troisième étang de Guillaume de Conquérant.
À chaque extrémité de l’étang, il y avait un moulin: le moulin des Pins en aval, et le moulin du Prieur en amont. Ce dernier avait un double emploi: il servait à la fois de moulin à blé et de moulin à foulon.
Merci de noter que les coordonnées indiquées sont celles du site où se trouvait le moulin du Prieur sur le Beuvron, une dépendance du Prieuré Saint Jacques. Le Beuvron, rivière de 1ère catégorie, est un affluent de la Sélune.
Une fois sur le site du Pont de Prieur, il faut chercher le gardien de la cache !!!

The path that leads down to the site of the geocache is accessible from rue Cardin and can be accessed from the following coordinates:

The Rue Cardin leads to the Mouiln au Prieur that was once probably defended by a small round tower. Between the gateway to Avranches, and the Ruelle Cardin, below, is the Bas des Tertres, once known as “the Valley of Turrets” where the third pond of William the Conqueror could once be found.
At each end there was a mill, the “Moulin des Pins” downstream and the “Moulin du Prieur” upstream. The latter served a dual purpose, being both a flour mill and a textile mill at the same time.
Please note that the coordinates are those for the site where the Moulin de Prieur once stood on the banks of the Beuvron, a building that was part of the St Jacques Priory. The Beuvron is a category 1 river and a tributary of La Sélune.
Once you have reached the site of the “Pont de Prieur”, you need to find the keeper of the cache.
