Placed in honour of my kitten, Bob, who got “bobbed” today.
Bob is one of three kittens born around October 1, 2011, in a dog house behind my garage. About 3 weeks later, I spied a mound of black & white fur in the dog house, and thought “SKUNK”. But it turned out to be 3 black & white male kittens and their mother. A few weeks later, 2 of the boys were adopted by a very nice family and I kept Bob. When I typed this last night, Bob was on the floor, nibbling on my feet. He obviously hadn’t read the “nil by mouth” sign on the kitty carrier.
By the time you find the cache, Bob will be only a “sporting model”, and the local female felines will be safe from his advances.
There are 2 routes to this cache. My 3 grandsons, who helped with the hide, chose the more direct & more treacherous route. Approximately 15m north, is a safer, more stable approach. Take your pick. T rating is 3 for one way, 2.5 for the other.
Best to stay away from this trail after dark. Too many coyotes.
