Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the given coordinates!
But the Zero Center Point of Shanghai almost is.

You might plan a half day including all the travelling from and back home but the caching itself would take approx. 2 hours. You will have to travel across the city with metro, bus and/or taxi. Final destination is in a park, so get ready for a picnic. You might find one or two more regular caches on your way as a bonus.

Start at the given coordinates. In case you arrive at the good time, you might find this place interesting - especially if you are single. But do not get stuck here searching for a partner for a long time. Maybe you can come another time for that purpose.

Instead, turn to (approx. 325 degrees) North-West. Can you see a bit unusual but beautiful building behind the bushes? That building is official "The Zero Center Point of Shanghai" and you have to explore it now.

Inside, you have the following tasks:
Find out the floor with the gallery where the building history is exhibited. The floor number is "A".
Count the number of stairs from the lobby to the gallery. It is an odd number and it is higher than 20 but lower than 39. That number is "BC".
Go ahead and study all the exhibited posters carefully to answer the remaining questions:
When was the famous architect of this building born? This year is "DEFG".
Count the letters of the country where the architect was born, but it's not Hungary. Use the English name. The sum of letters equals "H".
How many floors does the hotel have? That's "IJ" (It's not recommended to Google this!).

If you have got all, its time to do the math now.

The final coordinates (within approx. 5 meters accuracy) are here:
N 3(G-A) (B-A)E.C(I+J)F
E D2(C-B) B(H-3*I).G(C-1)H
(... if needed, feel free to contact the cache owner to double-check the final coordinates)

To get there, you can walk for several hours - but that's not recommended.
It is suggested to take metro line No. D to its last destination. Then, directly from the bus terminal outside the metro station, you can take bus No. (A+B+G)(I+J)G. After 5 or 6 stations you can get off the bus and walk few hundred meters more to the final coordinates.
Another (but not D3.5) option is to use the newly opened metro station several hundred meters away from the final coordinates.
All year, the park is accessible before 6 PM (in July-September till 7 PM). Access is free of charge.
