Isle of Man Invaded by Aliens?
Amateur astronomers at the Isle of Man Observatory were making their usual night sky observations last weekend and were amazed to see a strange object approaching the island. It was definitely not a plane or any other object recognisable as originating on Earth. It passed above the observatory and was seen to land some distance away.
The astronomers hurried off in the direction of the landing site but by the time they arrived in the area there was no sign of the unusual craft.
It is assumed that some kind of cloaking or miniaturisation device was used to hide it.
As no-one on the island has experience of searching for craft of extra terrestrial origin, an elite group of people were sent for to form search parties.
The north is to be searched by Matt, William, Christopher and Jon.
The west is to be searched by Patrick, Paul, Peter and Tom.
As geocachers have experience in searching for hidden objects, it is hoped that you will help them to find the craft. The elite team have suggested a search area and it is thought to have landed in a nearby tree.
The given co-ordinates are for a suggested parking area and if you wish you can continue along a little used footpath (not wheelchair friendly) to complete a fairly short circular walk, who knows, you may find escaped aliens from the craft!
