Geocache Description:

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The cache is a small screw top container containing a log book, pencil, un-activated FTF Geocoin for your FTF Prize, and some small swaps.

The difficulty represents working out the puzzle not finding the cache itself.

The listed co-ords are NOT where the cache is hidden, just merely a road to take you there.

To find the correct co-ords you will need to solve the following puzzle.

There are five pubs all in a line, and each pub has a different name.

They all have their own resident pet. Each pub sells one particular drink, and makes one particular meal.

Then they all play one particular game in each pub.

No pub has the same name, drink, pet, meal, or game.

Using the following statements, work out the name of each pub, their resident pet, the drink they serve, the game they play, the meal they supply, and the order that they are in.

Numbering the pubs from left to right 1-5. The Pub Conundrum.

The pub that sells faggots and peas has a parrot as a pet.

The White Heart sells pizzas.

The pub that has a cat as a pet sells curry.

The pub that has a goldfish as a pet is to the left of the pub that sells gin.

The pub that plays cards has a goldfish as a pet.

The Queen Victoria sells wine.

The Royal Oak has a pet dog.

The middle pub plays pool.

The first pub sells lager.

The pub that plays darts is next to the pub that sells fish and chips.

The pub that sells cider is next to The Royal Oak.

The pub that plays skittles has a pig as a pet.

The pub that sells whisky also sells lasagne.

The pub that sells lager is next to The Kings Arms.

The pub that plays darts is next to the pub that plays dominos.

The other pub is called The Red Lion.

So now you know all the answers, from the following questions do your sums to find out the required co-ordinates.

A = Cards B = Curry C = Pig D = Cider E = Cat F = Pool G = The Queen Victoria H = Lasagne

N 51 AA. 0B(C+D) W 004 AE. F(G+H)E

Unfortunately this cache doesn’t take you to a pub as there aren’t many about now. It can be done as a cache and dash once you have worked out the clues. Good Luck !!
