Church Micro 2546 - Brandon : Bypassed (9)

This is a series that is approx 3.5 miles (5.5 km) long that has 12 caches to find.

Other than the caches in Brandon Country Park, this town has been fairly neglected when it comes to cache placement. The route follows a course based upon childhood memories of the areas that we used to play in. A lot of nostalgia when retracing steps of times past, I trust that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Route Directions
Having collected #8, head south-east over the field, when intersecting with the road, turn left and head towards St Peters church and GZ for [9].

Cache
Small magnetic nano.
Please bring your own pen.

Church Information
This church was almost entirely rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries, but there is something unusual about the tower; the stair way seems to have been added as an afterthought, a doorway cut into the wall and not so much a turret as a bulge.

At the east end are two magnificent spired turrets which appear to serve no other purpose than decoration, and perhaps access to the chancel roof.

Like most of Suffolk's town churches, St Peter's underwent a big restoration in the 19th century.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
