Geocache Description:

In 1906, Dr. Alexander James McCatty generously donated his beach property to found a bathing club in Montego Bay. Club members were mainly from the medical profession. At that time they entered the tiny beach through a cave. The cave however, was destroyed by a hurricane in 1932.

The waters are clear, and the beach is excellent. Did I mention there is a bar here? :) Have a Margarita and hunt for this cache. There is a small entrance fee to get onto this beautiful beach as the facilities are excellent. When you walk to the water and look back towards the beach, you will notice a raised "lookout" tower on the far right. This tower is sits on a multi-sided pillar. I think it has 8 sides. The side that faces directly toward the ocean has a small crack on its right side that goes below the sand. If you dig down about 1.5 feet in the sand at this point, you will find the hidden cache.

Please be discreet as this is a popular beach. Remember to re-bury this cache pretty deep so folks don't accidentally find this treasure.

Update 6/5/2023: It looks like the cache container has gone missing. If you have extra room in your travels for a replacement cache container, I would be very thankful to you. Enjoy.
