Third in my Malt Hill series, this cache is hidden just off the bridleway north of the research site. The cache is accessible from the path and there is no need to cross any fence lines.
There is a busy road to the north of the cache location and particular care should be taken when parking near or crossing this road. It is a good place to cross the road but some vehicles approach at high speed so take care.
THE SERIES
Around Malt Hill is a series of 10 caches over a distance of 13km on foot or 12km by bike. Suggested parking at the start of the series is at Warfield Memorial Ground off Osbourne Lane however there are other parking alternatives around the circuit the best of which are shown on the attached map. As well as these 10 caches the route also takes you directly past 7 other traditional caches and close to many more to the north of the loop.

DIRECTIONS (to/from)
The route from the previous cache “Top of the hill”, requires you to stay on the road before taking the bridleway left just after the Football/Cricket pitch on the left.
To get from the cache to the next in the series, head north up the bridleway taking care when crossing the busy road to the unmade road on the otherside. Follow this road as it bears right to the cache.
