This is the first in a series of 4 geocaches at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center located in the Rivermarket district of downtown Little Rock. The terrain is an urban park with a great view of the Arkansas River. Expect to venture downtown, park and walk on paved trails.
Cache number one is under a tree and within reach of a very large rock that you can sit on while you search for the cache. It is a great place to learn about native plants of Arkansas and you may see many small animals like birds, squirrels, rabbits and if your lucky; a ground hog! Within a small container near a unique tree lies the information you need for cache number two. Cache number two has a fisherman and a small boy watching over it! The third cache is a wonderful place to take a load off and just watch nature and the river flow by. The last cache in this series is only accessible during the following times: Tuesday-Saturday 8:30-4:30pm. The First cache is in a small film canister. The second and third cache are micro containers. The last cache is an ammo can. Watch out for Muggles! You may have to be covert while opening a cache in this area. Please try to return the cache when no one is looking.
