Geocache Description:

Cache is located in the Yellow River State Forest, near equestrian and hiking trails. Elevation of cache approx. 1122 feet.

This cache was initially designed for the horse-lover in mind, but of course all can enjoy. It is in a average sized Rubbermaid container. This is a beautiful state forest that is hardly visited this time of year. There are many equestrian and hiking trails in Yellow River State Forest. During the summer there are maps of the trails available, as well as maps posted at various locations along the trail. The trails are in excellent condition, but may be rocky, muddy, or steep in some locations. Many of the trails will have dense tree cover, which may make geocaching difficult in the summer months. Original contents:
  1. Toy Breyer horse
  2. Horse magnet from Saddlebred museum
  3. Vetrap (bandaging for horses & pets)
  4. Travel pack of Kleenex
  5. Log book, pen & pencilThis cache was initially designed for the horse-lover in mind, but of course all can enjoy. It is in a average sized Rubbermaid container.
