Zaklad se nahaja na jugovzhodnem pobocju nad Grgarskim poljem v zelo
zanimivem jamskem objektu. To je velika podorna dolina z dvorano premera 16 metrov. V Jamo v Golobicnah oz. Jamo pri Britofu vodi tudi strelski jarek preko katerega se da najlaže priti v samo jamo.
Avto parkiramo pri osnovni šoli Grgar (N45 59.912 E 013 40.468), ob parkirišcu pa se že vidi pot ,ki nas preko polj pripelje do pobocja. Na delu pobocja ,ki je spodaj manj porašceno poišcemo pot do jame oziroma še prej zagledamo vojaški jarek iz prve voljne, ki mu sledimo.
Položaj jarka bi lahko pomenil, da so med prvo svetovno vojno jamo uporabljali tudi vojaki, kar je vsekakor razumljivo, saj takšna jama nudi naravno zatocišce tako pred vremenom kot pred drugimi neprilikami, ki jih je med vojno vedno dovolj. Zanimivo je, da je strop nad osrednjim delom dvorane relativno tanek, debel komaj kaj vec kot dva metra. Po eni strani bi to lahko pomenilo, da se bo scasoma vhod v jamo povecal, jama pa zmanjšala, po drugi pa se je ravno zaradi tako tankega stropa jama sploh odprla. Zakladek je na varnem.
Jama je danes dobro poznana med Grgarci, deloma tudi po zaslugi
Franciškovega tabora, v okviru katerega so leta 2006 v jami organizirali tudi vsaj eno mašo. Vhod, ki je danes dobro skrit med okoliško vegetacijo, je bil vcasih, ko so okoliška pobocja še kosili in pasli, gotovo viden tudi od dalec,.
Kdor terena ne pozna je bolje , da se sem odpravi le po dnevi in ob lepem in suhem vremenu. lahko se zgodi da se jami približamo z napacne smeri. Zato priporocam previdnost zlasti z majhnimi otroci.
