Italiano:
In Italia c'è un famoso modo di dire: “anno bisesto, anno funesto”.
Al contrario questo sarà un anno propizio per tutti i geocacher amanti delle statistiche e non solo.
Dalla nascita di geocaching a oggi ci sono stati solo due anni bisestili (2004 e 2008) e quindi solo due possibilità di loggare un found il 29 Febbraio.
Questo è il terzo “leap day” per geocaching e allora perchè non festeggiarlo con un evento dedicato a questo giorno così speciale che si presenta solo una volta ogni 4 anni?

Come:
Cena a base di specialità ferraresi (ad esempio: cappellacci di zucca e salama da sugo)
Se siamo un numero abbastanza cospicuo (almeno 20 partecipanti) potrò provare di arrangiare un menu altrimenti si cena alla carta.

Dove:
Trattoria i Tri Scalin Via Darsena, 52 (N 44°49.897 E 011°36.777)
Un locale storico di Ferrara, presente da oltre 30 anni.

Quando:
Mercoledi 29 Febbraio alle 20:30


Parcheggio:
Parcheggio Centro Storico, ingresso da Via Darsena (N 44°49.919 E 011°36.757)

Costo parcheggio: dalle 7.30 alle 20.00: prima ora 0,80€
                               dalle 20.00 alle 24.00: prima ora 0,25€

Il parcheggio Centro Storico è il più grande di Ferrara, quindi non ci dovrebbero essere problemi a trovare un posto auto, è ubicato sul retro del ristorante.


Venite a questo event e avrete sicuramente un “found”, vi aspettiamo numerosi ;-)

In Italy there is a popular phrase "anno bisesto, anno funesto" that literally means: “leap year, baleful year”.
That’s not true, in fact, for geocachers who love statistics it will be a happy year. From the birth of geocaching up to today there have been two leap years (2004 and 2008), and thus only two possibilities to log a found on February 29th.
This is the third leap day for geocaching, so why celebrating it with an event dedicated to this special day that occurs only once every 4 years?

How:
Dinner with typical dishes of Ferrara (for example cappellacci di zucca and salama da sugo)
If we are at least 20 participants I will try to arrange a menu otherwise we’ll have dinner à la carte.

Where:
Trattoria i Tri Scalin  - Via Darsena 52 (N 44°49.897 E 011°36.777)
A famous restaurant in Ferrara, for more than 30 years.

When:
Wednesday February 29th at 20:30


Parking:
Centro Storico Parking, entrance from Via Darsena (N 44°49.919 E 011°36.757)

Parking fee: from 7.30 to 20.00: € 0.80 first hour
                    from 20.00 to 24.00: € 0.25 first hour

The car park is the largest one in Ferrara, so there should be no problem finding a free parking space there. This car park is situated directly behind the restaurant.

Come to this event and you will surely have a found, we expect many participants ;-)
