What is a GeoPark?
Several members of Lehigh Valley Geocachers volunteered to hide
interesting and unusual caches in a small, concentrated area. We
call this zone a “GeoPark.” If you plan your caching
just right, you may qualify for a “One Busy Day”
cache. Enjoy!
Hugh Moore Park Notes:
The GeoPark is located on a portion on Hugh
Moore Park. Ample parking and picnic tables are available, in
addition to biking and hiking trails. You may also enjoy a
mule-drawn canal boat ride (fee required) and explore the
Emerick Technology Center (admission fee,
included with canal boat ride). It’s a wonderful location for
a family to spend a day.
Hours: 8am to dusk
Pets: permitted on the east side of the park, only; pets not
permitted in the area near the canal boat, technology center or
locktender's house, (the west side of the park).

You will need
to complete a special Wherigo cartridge in order to get the correct
coordinates for the geocache location!
This Wherigo cartridge takes place at Lehigh Valley Geocachers
GeoPark! This cartridge will take you on an educational tour of the
Hugh Moore Park and the canal. I am hoping it will help you learn a
little about the history of the area while taking you on a short
geo-hike. You will be asked a series of questions at different
stages of the game, answer them correctly and you game will be much
faster. Make a mistake and there may be a penalty to serve. I
enjoyed creating this cartridge and learned a lot about life along
the canal. I am hoping this wherigo will show you some of the
abilities of this type cache and maybe inspire you to give
designing one a try! They do take some time to learn to design but
open up so many possibilities for our game! Good Luck and Happy

1. Garmin Colorado, Oregon or Nuvi 500 series.
2. A pocket PC with attached GPS.
3. An Android powered device with wherigo compatible app.
4. An IOS device with a wherigo app.
5. An IPhone with the wherigo app

Important
Notice!
If you are using a Colorado or Oregon to play not only this but any
Wherigo cartridge once you have been asked for input do not leave
the active zone until you have answered even if wrong. If you leave
a zone without answering the question when you return to the zone
the gps will abruptly shut off saving nothing. Your game will be
lost. This applies to all Wherigo cartridges.
