A surprise for those who like the atmosphere of being out in the
middle of nowhere. Going at night adds to the fun - there ARE
ghosts out there. Really.
This is a virtual cache. The reward is visiting the location
itself. There is no container full of goodies to be found there,
but it's an interesting enough place to be well worth the
visit.
Need: One map of Iowa. A map of eastern Monroe County is helpful
but not necessary.
Coordinates above are to the first waypoint, not the cache site.
Approximately 15 miles going the shortest route from the first
waypoint to the cache site, 6 of which are on gravel roads. Cache
site is a short walk from the road.
On your journey, expect the unexpected. You’ll know the cache when
you see it. The place is rather well-known, it’s not a secret.
