My mission is to celebrate my love of France with a perfect day out in tribute to Français tout. What better way to start than with a picnic? And surely the starting point of any pique-nique must be the cheese... The pictures are totally inconsequential, other than to get your mouth watering.

Dartford Heath is a great place for a cycle with lots of good terrain for kids and those that like a little bit of off-road terrain. It's mostly very flat, but there are also a few fun spots with steep drops and bumps. These can be avoided. Most of the caches are near to open paths, but a couple are quite narrow with gorse either side, so you may want to wear gloves. I cycled the route to place the caches and foud it very agreeable. The only cache which is not easily accessible by bike is #6, but it can be left a few metres away. Equally, it is a nice walk! I have put in parking coordinates only on cache #1, but it serves all the Francophile caches. It has a 2m height restriction, but if you are higher, there is a layby outside the car park.
