This is another stop on our tour of rural historic cemeteries in the Black Hills area. It is a small cemetery north of Ardmore, SD in Fall River County. There are approximately 160 graves here, some dating the late 1890's, with the earliest on record of 1896.
To get to the cache, take SD Hwy 71 to the reference coordinates listed on the page. This is the turnout road to the cemetery. Please stay on the trail / road, do not venture off into the surrounding field.
You do not have to enter the cemetery grounds to find the cache. If a service is in progress, or if there is someone here maintaining a grave site, please come back at a later time. If you do chose to visit the cemetery, please pay due respect and do not disturb any of the markers or headstones. Follow any and all posted cemetery regulations. Most importantly, do NOT look for this cache after dark.
You are looking for a small camo'd bison tube. Bring your own writing stick as there isn't one in the cache. Please re-hide the cache better than you found it.
As with all of our caches, enjoy the area, be safe and have fun.
