Geocache Description:

Crocodiles are ambush hunters, lurking in the shadows waiting for any prey that passes by so they can rush out and attack. These cold-blooded predators can survive months without food and despite their slow appearance they can travel up to speeds of 11mph. Known as 'ruling reptiles', these beasts are closely related to dinosaurs. They have smooth skin on their belly and side, while their dorsal surface is armoured with large osteoderms.

Urban legends tell stories of crocodiles occupying the sewers, with supposed witnesses seeing the crocodiles emerge to drag people down to their fate. While these tales cannot be confirmed, some say these crocodile dens are full of treasure and many wish to be the lucky explorers who can find them.

Brave explorers will find much treasure, but need never leave the pavement!

Muggles everywhere! Pretend to be waiting for a bus!

Geocachers may park by the footpath and visit 'By the Field' too.
