Thompson Peak Traditional Cache

There are several ways to get to the summit of this peak. The route that I took begins at the end of Golden Eagle Blvd. in Fountain Hills (N 33° 38.142' W 111° 46.080'). Lance Armstrong could ride a mountain bike up to the top of the mountain; most geocachers would prefer to hike, or use a combination of mountain biking and hiking.

The cache box is a 30 caliber ammo can that contains an assortment of small toys, golf balls, and other items. There is a camera in the cache, so please take a picture of yourself and other members of your team. If you take the last picture, please take the camera back home with you and contact me as soon as possible. I will then send you a PhotoWorks.com mailing envelope with enclosed payment for photo developing, and you can put the camera in the envelope and put it in the mail to develop the film.
