Bring a pen. Some bushwacking necessary. Menards parking lot is probably the best place to park.
Update 7/9/12: Not hanging out like it was originally built but still there for the fun.
“You can hang out in the lounge while we fix it” the serviceman said to another customer. I had already been hanging out in the lounge for a half hour. I had a two hour wait while my car was being fixed with no ride home. No new caches in the area for me to find either. Some I still need are probably a little too far for me to walk to on this 20 degree morning. I keep refreshing my email praying for a notification of a new cache nearby. Nothing. As I’m playing on c:geo I get an idea. There is nothing new for me to go find but what about placing something new?!
With absolutely no gear available to me I head over to Wal-Mart and Menards to see what I can MacGyver up! No joke! I bought tools and supplies from both places and put together a cache! I built it while eating lunch at Subway. I got a lot of funny looks! So it’s not the greatest cache setup ever but I had a ton of fun doing it. Come see what I put together instead of “just hanging out”!
