Geocache Description:

Nearest parking is at the Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center. The cache is hidden on a detour leading to the water away from Cove Trail.

Cove Trail is about 1-2 miles long. It leads into a protected wildlife area and is meant for pedestrians only. It is a great trail for bird watchers and fairly easy walking. Some of the track can be waterlogged as it is a wetlands area.

There are numerous paths which lead off Cove Trail. When searching for the cache look for a sandy path which runs along the water's edge. Stop once you have reached a sign.

The cache is a small Rubbermaid container. It contains a small log/notepad and pencil. I placed a bottle opener in the cache.
