We have been to Katschberg a couple of times and it is still great. The people are friendly, the nature is beautiful and the snow (in winter) is great. We haven’t seen it in summer yet, but the pictures look promissing. So, a nice place to hide a cache.
From here you can overlook the countryside and you can see the small town Katschberghöhe deep down below and all the skislopes were the cows graze in summer (at least that is what they say in the Milka ads).
The cache
You don’t need special gear to find this cache, though skis might be handy in winter ;-). At this hight you will find no more trees, only dead ones ... Look for this dead wood and you will find the cache. The cache is a small green waterproof container. Because of the snow in winter it is hidden as high from the ground as possible.
