Le Rocher du Jas
Un peu à l’écart de la très connue route des crêtes, une échine rocheuse émerge du tas de cailloux local. Vous pouvez y accéder facilement en 10 minutes de marche depuis la route des crêtes, une route forestière vous mènera à quelques dizaines de mètres de la cache. Attention les jours de grand mistral la route des crêtes est fermée à la circulation, cela vous donnera une excellente occasion pour gouter aux charmes d’une randonnée dans les collines ciotadennes, ou de vous faire plaisir en VTT sur les nombreuses pistes forestières.
La vue sur le golf d’amour y est magnifique, rien que pour ça la cache vaut le détour.
La hauteur du rocher est très modeste, mais attention tout de même une très mauvaise chute est toujours possible. Surveillez les jeunes enfants et faites attention par grand vent.

Few hundred meters on the side of the famous “Route des Crêtes”, a little roc comes out of the dry hills. You can access the cache in 10 minutes walk from the route des crêtes, a large track is passing 10 meters or so from the cache. Caution when the mistral is blowing hard it is forbidden to drive on the route des crêtes. This is a very good occasion to have a nice walk in the beautiful hills around La Ciotat, or have a fun mountain bike ride on the numerous forest tracks.
The view from the cache on the “golf d’amour” is gorgeous.
Warning: the rock’s height is very modest (few meters) but a fall from the top might cause you an unexpected extension of your stay in the area (Marseille’s hospital is not the best place to visit in the area). Watch out for your children, and be very careful when wind is blowing hard.
On last warning: BE CAREFULL WITH FIRE!!!!
