A 5-7 minute hike from the trailhead that starts near the first turn going into Kahana Bay after passing the Crouching Lion Inn. Trailhead is next to a large power pole.
The path is a little steep in a few areas, but there are guide ropes most of the way to help those who may need a little help to get to the 198' elevation.
After finding the cache, continue following the trail to a beautiful spot at 433' elevation for gorgeous 360-degree views of both shorelines, Kahana Bay, the ocean, and Kahana Valley. Fantastic! And if you've made it that far, another 6-7 minutes away you can reach Crouching Lion rock itself at 498'. It's worth the trek.
