1905. gada revolucija bija visaptverošs galvenokart savstarpeji nesaistitu mierigu protesta akciju un vardarbigu sacelšanos kopums Krievijas imperija, kas bija versts pret pastavošo carisko režimu. 1905. gada revolucijas rezultata Krievija tika ieviestas zinamas demokratiskas reformas, kas gan pilniba realizetas netika. Valdibas agresiva reakcija uz revolucijas notikumiem un pec tas sekojošas represijas pret revolucijas dalibniekiem vel vairak mazinaja iedzivotaju uzticibu valdošajam režimam.
1905. gada revolucija skara ari tolaik Krievijas imperijas sastava esošo Latviju. Latvija revolucionara darbiba sakas pec 13. janvara, kad Daugavmala karaspeks ar varu izklidinaja mierigas protesta akcijas dalibniekus - tika nogalinati apmeram 70 cilveku, bet ievainoti - vismaz 200.
Piemineklis 1905.gada cinitajiem - uzstadits vieta, kur 1905.g. 28. novembri notika ta saukta Lielvardes kauja, kur revolucionari aiztureja uz Rigu begošos apkartejo muižu baronus. Pieminekla autors ir A.Gailitis.

About the 1905th of revolution.
1905th the Revolution was largely unrelated comprehensive peaceful protest and violent rebellion set in the Russian Empire, which was directed against the existing regime. 1905th of revolution in Russia was introduced some democratic reforms, although not fully realized.
