Geocache Description:

This North Delaney loop route takes you on one of the more remote and untraveled sections of Delaney wildlife area with great views of the wetlands. There are a few water hazards along the way. These should be no problem unless the water level is high from recent rains or melts. Parking is South of Stage 1.

This 7-stage multi-cache includes a few easy Scrabble elements in the field. And, as a bonus, you will find some (good) hints to other JWCorey Scrabble Whiz mystery caches in a few of the containers:

  1. GC2GPXY: Scrabble Whiz
  2. GC2MB8X: Scrabble Whiz #2: Get it while it's cold
  3. GC2VNG3: Scrabble Whiz #3: Boxboro Hairball
  4. GC31CRR: Scrabble Whiz #4: What is amiss?
  5. GC35A4R: Scrabble Whiz #5: Raven, Rock, Cache

Here are some notes to help you out in the field:

  1. Three of the interim stages are 2 inch diameter by 6 inch long cylinders.
  2. The other three stages are: a 2-letter word (literally), a 3-letter word and a 9-letter word.
  3. This is a wetlands and most of the stages are pretty close to water. Be careful and don't fall in the drink.
  4. Bring a pencil and paper. Some simple anagramming is required.
  5. All stages are winter friendly.

Team Periwinkle created a great KMZ map of the area. Delaney North
