Geocache Description:

Le Mesnil-sur-Blangy is a small village in the Basse Normandie with a very nice small church!

During my holiday in the Normandy this summer I found out that there is a severe lack of Geocaches in this whole area, so I wanted to leave a footprint to show you a very calm and pitoresque village.

Le Mesnil-sur-Blangy is a nice place to see with 178 inhabitants (2008), an old small church called Nôtre Dame du Mesnil-sur-Blangy (built in the 12th century) and a cute Bistro/Restaurant to rest after the challenge. The inner roof-construction of the church with its huge wooden beams looks a bit like a headdown vikings' dragonboat. As a result the villagers of Le Mesnil-sur-Blangy love to spread the word of their church being built by "stranded Nordmannen"! ;)

The Cache

I placed a small box with enough space for coins and TBs, a logbook and a pencil. To be sure you should bring your own pen, you never know... ;)
