Der Gaisberg selber wird oft als "Balkon der Stadt Salzburg" bezeichnet.
Ganz besonders gilt das aber für die Stelle, an der sich dieser Cache versteckt. Man hat von hier womöglich den tollsten Blick auf die Mozartstadt überhaupt, aber staunt selbst 
.
Er befindet sich auf dem Gaisberg-Rundwanderweg, der beim Restaurant "Zistelalm" startet und in etwa 5,5 Km um den Berg führt. Der Rundweg ist breit, einfach zu gehen, hat nur geringe Höhenunterschiede.
Wer ihn in der Nacht suchen will kann ihn idealerweise mit diesem Nachtcache kombinieren.

Kurz nach dem Start gibts einen Abenteuerspielplatz für die Kinder, danach einfach den Wanderweg etwa 1 Km weitergehen. Der Ausblick vom Balkon beim Cache ist zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit eine besondere Sache.
Also einfach getreu dem Motto: "Am Balkon loana und auf Salzburg åbischaun"...
ACHTUNG: Der Cache ist NICHT im steilen Gelände versteckt!

The Gaisberg is often called "balcony of Salzburg".
This name is especially true for the place where the Cache is hidden. You'll enjoy a breathtaking scenic view down to Mozart's town from here, just check out yourself .
The location is part of the hiking path around the summit of Gaisberg. The path starts at restaurant "Zistelalm" and has a lenght of 5,5 Km. It is wide, easy to walk and has just small height-differences.
Parking lot "Zistelalm":

Just after the start of the path you'll pass an adventure playground for kids. Then follow the hiking path for about 1 Km.
The scenic view from the balcony near the Cache is a highlight at day as well as at night.
So just follow the Cache's motto which means: "Leaning at the balcony and looking down to Salzburg"...
CAUTION: The Cache is NOT hidden in steep terrain!
