All of the caches in this series have been placed along a portion of the Gordon Glaves Memorial Trail. This is a paved trail which will take you from Colborne Street in Brantford all the way to Port Dover, Ontario.
There is room for two or three cars to park each time the trail crosses the roadway. If you begin your trek from Colborne Street, you may park in the D'Aubigny Creek Soccer lot across the road from the trailhead.
Trail is wheelchair friendly, cache location is not.
My dad, GreenThumb9 and I are big Star Wars fans, and when this part of the trail became available we decided to expand our already existing "Star Wars Series" caches. This cache is part of the "Star Wars Characters" series of caches. There are 15 caches in this series. Each cache is a stand-alone cache.
R2D2
R2D2,an astromech droid, is a major character in the Star Wars Series. He is a loveable character with a high-pitched "voice."
He is C3PO's sidekick, and together they provide comic relief as they end up in constant misadventures.
R2D2 witnessed Anakin and Padame's secret wedding. He is also credited with saving the day at least once in every film.
