Multizaklad vas bo popeljal po rojstni vasi našega najvecjega pesnika Franceta Prešerna.
Multicache will lead you through the birth village of Slovenian greatest poet France Prešeren.

Prešernova hiša/Prešeren's house

Najpomembnejši slovenski pesnik, dr. France Prešeren (1800 - 1849), se je rodil Pri Rib’cu v Vrbi, v hiši, ki je od leta 1939 urejena v spominski muzej z notranjo opremo iz pesnikovega casa, med katero ima še poseben pomen pesnikova zibelka. Leta 1937 se je zacela akcija za odkup pesnikove rojstne hiše od Marije Vovk, rojene Fertin. Sestavili so nepoliticen odbor, v katerem je bil blagajnik brezniški rojak in pisatelj Fran Saleški Finžgar. Hišo je s pomocjo šolske mladine odkupil slovenski narod. Postala je last Dravske banovine in bila za javnost odprta 21. maja 1939.

The most important Slovenian poet, doc. France Prešeren (1800-1849), was born in Vrba, in house, which was organized in monumental museum in the year 1939. Inside, there is furniture from poet's time. The most important part of furniture is poet's cradle. In 1937 an auction for the house has begun. They arranged an unpolitical committee, in which writer Fran Saleški Finžgar was the cashier. House was, by the help of school young people, bought by Slovene nation. It has become property of Drava administrative unit and was opened for public on 21st of May 1939.
