We wanted to place a few caches in an area where we have enjoyed finding caches in the past. It is a wonderful area to experience and to enjoy nature and being outdoors. We are putting a small series of caches here, and the most direct route for finding all of these caches would be approximately a 2 mile round trip. However, there are many loops on these trails, so that factor could make your walk a bit longer.
Park Hours: 8AM-6PM Dogs Must be Leashed
The trails in this area are composed of a gravel/chat mix, and so not quite as smooth as paved/asphalt paths. However, they make for a pleasant walk and bicycles are also welcome. This cache is placed approximately 1 mile from the parking coordinates and is close to the path. Be careful as you retrieve it and please put it back as you found it. We hope you enjoy it.
We would like to thank the Harrisonville Parks and Recreation Department and especially D.J. Breitbach, Assistant Parks & Recreation Director, for permission to place this cache. We, and the geocaching community, appreciate your support.
CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN and another very hearty ARRR go to riffraff9000 for FTF honors on another one of our new caches! That be bold and victorious, Cap'n and Wench! And, I have heard that there be ony two ranks of leaders amongst pirates - "Captain" and if you're really notorious then it’s "Cap’n!" Sail ye boat swiftly on to new caching adventures, Cap'n!
