 Le Bois Renou, domaine qui appartenait à la seigneurie de Bonaban, s'étend sur 8 à 9 hectares et s'élève en dôme allongé à la lisière du marais qu'il domine complètement. La grotte, formant une chapelle, a été érigée à l'extrémité nord de la propriété au pied d'une statue de la Vierge. La grotte fut construite en 1898 par le comte Christian de Kergariou, maire de la Gouesnière et propriétaire du bois, pour remercier la Vierge de la guérison de son épouse. Le Bois-Renou est devenu un lieu de pèlerinage très connu. Il a été racheté par la commune en 1998.
La cache est dissimulée à l'écart de ce lieu de recueillement. Inutile donc de chercher dans la grotte ni au-dessus.
The Wood Renou, the domain which belonged to the seigneury of Bonaban, extends over 8 in 9 hectares and rises in dome lengthenedin the border of the swamp which it dominates completely. The cave, forming a chapel, was set up in the north extremity of the property at feet of a statue of the Virgin. The cave was built in 1898 by count Christian of Kergariou, mayor of Gouesnière and owner of the wood, to thank the Virgin of the cure of his wife. Bois-Renou became a very known place of pilgrimage. It was acquired by the municipality in 1998.
The cache is hidden away from this place of meditation. Useless thus to look in the cave nor above.
