This is a treacherous climb up the highest peak in the beautiful scenic surrounding of Sai Kung. There are a number of warnings suggesting inexperience hikers should not proceed to the peak, however against advice, my two children (aged 8 & 10) made it to the top (I.e it is not that dangerous if the correct precautions are taken). You are expected at some stages of the hike to be ascending (as well as descending) on all fours. Please make sure you take drinking water with you.
The route I used was the Maclehose trailer #2. This is accessible via buses from Sai Kung center.
I love to put more detail with regards to this hike, but unfortunately I'm a tourist so had limited knowledge myself.
Small note on cache maintenance: A local relative will assist if needed.
