The Old Dairy
The buildings were once a small holding and milking parlour for the house to the left.Built at roughly the same time as the houses it shows that these old buildings were very well made.
The first door housed the parlour and we have only recently taken out the bars and filled in the drainage gully.There is a stable that looks like its a museum piece(spit of Robert Burns House)with all the original features including the cobble floors.The pig sty is the falling structure(i blame manure)
The house had its own storage for chilling and before it was developed this room was nearly 2m deep.
It must have been wonderful all those years ago and now so many of us are reverting to self suffiency.
These days its my second home and if i'm not out caching i'm here.
PLEASE don't feed my ponies,this will cause them to start biting people.
