Geocache Description:

A challenge cache dedicated to the many volunteer 'hiders' of the caches we all seek....

"I have always depended on the kindness of strangers..."
- Blanche DuBois (Vivian Leigh) in A Streetcar Named Desire

Experienced cachers have undoubtedly seen the various Streak Challenges, geographical challenges ala the Thomas Challenge, the Washington State County Challenge, and the various blackout the calendar challenges where you must find a cache every calendar day of the year.

This cache is yet another blackout challenge, but with a twist. In order to qualify to find this cache, you must have previously found caches 'placed' on each calendar day of the year including leap day.

You'll have to prove eligibility by posting a note with a link to a GSAK-like report showing you have successfully found caches 'placed' on each calendar day of the year. My stats at the posting of this page looked like:

Yes - unfortunately I was three days short too at the time this cache was posted. Fixed that little issue :-)

The table above was generated by the FindStatGen3 macro - (LINK) - go to bottom of the thread for the latest version. The GSAK 'Anniversary' macro (LINK) will help you identify caches hidden on dates you still have open.

The PlacedDatesNotFound macro (LINK) will compare your finds versus a database of caches yet to be found, assuming you have one, and give you a distance-ordered list sorted by which date(s) you're missing. Pretty cool stuff.

eligibility requirements:

I want to be sure folks qualify before accepting their 'found' logs. If you use GSAK or the like, feel free to go ahead and seek the final at your convenience without contacting me, but remember to post something in your log that proves your eligibility (a image file, or pointer to one would be fine). Be sure you're calculating your finds by date 'placed' of course. I'll be checking :-)

If for some reason you do not use GSAK (please, learn - it's fabulous), contact me and we'll make other arrangements. In most cases I'll probably ask you to email me a zip file of your pocket query of finds so I can run my magic perl script against it. If I need to do the work of proving you're eligible, in that case please wait for my ok before going for it. Given a PQ of your finds, I'll probably turn it around in just a few hours max.

Thanks.

(Difficulty factor is due to the cache prerequisite requirements. Actual hide difficulty is significantly lesser.)

Note - access is from a Federal Way park trail. FW parks are only open between dawn and dusk. Please do not cause police activity here by night caching.

Actual hide is a short distance off established trails. Take care to not leave a geotrail to the final location. Thanks.
