October has 5 Saturdays, so there are geocaching events in Northwest Iowa! Since it's time for the Fall highway clean-up, we'll start with a CITO - and this time, the proper signs are displayed on the roadside!
We'll meet at 9:00 am in the parking lot of the Hinton baseball fields, and travel to the clean-up area in as few vehicles as possible. The section of the road is 1.8 miles long, and we have both sides. Many hands make light work! Safety vests and trash bags will be provided, along with a few pick-up tools. Gloves and long pants are recommended. We'll finish by noon.
Rumor has it that bumanfam Mom and the Kids are working on a fun Multi-Cache to fit the theme of the evening gathering at our home in Le Mars. Look for the event listing there to continue the geocaching fun.
